A Dream
05-26-09

Perhaps the world does not want to change.
Perhaps it's just too difficult to live in a different way.
Perhaps I am one of the few that understands that humans cannot evolve until they stop taking and begin to give to one another.

We have an abundance of charities.
Organizations that want to "help" some segment of society.
We have charities that want to help animals or the environment.
Needless to say we have some sort of group that wants desperately for another group to concede the need for change.
The truth as I see it, my truth is simple; it has become too difficult for too many to change.

Shame and blame become easy.
However no matter where the finger points the assignment of blame does not eliminate the challenge.
We can blame all we want to and nothing will be solved.
We've been doing this for thousands of years, focusing blame.

I believe I am a good writer.
I also firmly believe that no one will read what I have to say.
I am a harsh critic yet more so on myself first than others.

We have become less than lemmings as we follow blindly one after another into the abyss of our own lives.

For too long I've messed with the wiring in my head. Now it shorts out more oft than not. But at my age I just sit and enjoy the sparks.  RJM '07
